A relaxation space with comfortable swaying hammocks. You can lean back and relax while feeling the breeze blowing through Makiba Park.

Hammock Resort

An activity where you board a passenger car pulled by a large tractor and leisurely tour through a forest area not open to the public. Through in-vehicle guidance, you can also gain small insights into forestry and dairy farming operations. Dog Run

Makiba Astronomy Hall

This is the birthplace of Koiwai Farm's dairy farming, where approximately 300 mother cows and calves live. You can also view 9 buildings designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, including the active barn and the brick silo said to be Japan's oldest.

Kamimarugyu Barn

A learning facility that clearly displays the long history of Koiwai Farm, including the history of land reclamation, the development of dairy farming, coexistence with nature, the farm's 130+ years of progress and current operations, cultural properties within the farm, and connections with Kenji Miyazawa. The content includes materials, photographs, and models that can be enjoyed by people of all generations.

Koiwai Farm Museum

A gallery where you can enjoy learning about 21 nationally designated Important Cultural Properties and the farm's history through videos and interactive exhibits. You can also experience the historical background using the latest digital technology.

You can view through a window the process of making milk and natural cheese from raw milk collected at Kamimarugyu Barn. A facility where you can learn how it is made and what care goes into it.
